Step 5: Review Fees and Subscriptions

Check for unexpected fees or subscriptions linked to your payment methods.

Updated over 6 months ago

How can I scan for paid subscriptions and fees?

You can access this feature by linking your bank accounts. Yorba will scan your payment history to find recurring payments indicative of account fees. For more information on how to connect paid accounts, visit this article.

Yorba will never ask you to share or connect credit cards or bank accounts with us. Instead, we use Plaid to securely mediate a connection to your bank(s).

Back to pruning

Similarly to the inbox scan, the paid accounts results are not always 100% accurate. Once your results are in, we recommend looking for unrecognized charges or duplicate subscriptions, dismissing them from the results list, or removing them once you’ve imported your paid accounts into the Account Manager section.

Time to cancel unnecessary subscriptions

After you’ve dismissed or removed any inaccurate information, you can cancel unwanted subscriptions directly on the service provider's website or through the Yorba deletion process. These steps will help you secure your online presence and manage your subscriptions more effectively.
